Ingredients

1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)

1 cup buttermilk or dairy-free milk alternative

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Cauliflower: Begin by washing the cauliflower and cutting it into evenly-sized florets to ensure uniform cooking.

Make the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Slowly add in the buttermilk, stirring until you have a smooth batter.

Coat the Cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Shake off any excess batter and place the florets on a plate.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Cauliflower: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the coated cauliflower in the basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches. Spray the top of the cauliflower with a little more olive oil for extra crispiness.

Cook Until Crispy: Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Toss in Buffalo Sauce: Once cooked, immediately transfer the crispy cauliflower to a large bowl. Drizzle the buffalo sauce over the florets and toss gently until they are well-coated.

Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and added flavor. Serve hot alongside your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese.
