Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast

2 slices of thick-cut bread (sourdough or whole grain recommended)

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons shredded sharp cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)

1 tablespoon butter (softened)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Fresh herbs (like chives or parsley) for garnish

Prep the Bread: Start by spreading softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. This will help create a golden, crispy exterior.

    Season the Eggs: In a small bowl, crack the eggs and beat them lightly with a fork. Add in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.

      Add Cheese: Stir in the shredded cheese to the egg mixture. This will give it a gooey, cheesy interior once cooked!

        Assemble the Toast: Take the unbuttered side of each slice of bread and open a well in the center to hold the egg mixture. Use a glass or small bowl to gently press down the center of the bread without breaking through the bottom.
