1 can (5 oz) solid white tuna in water, drained

1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or mayo (your preference)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup diced cucumber

1/4 cup diced cherry tomatoes

1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and roughly chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 large lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine work well)

Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley), for garnish

Prep the Tuna: In a medium mixing bowl, use a fork to flake the drained tuna until it's broken into smaller pieces.

    Mash the Avocado: In a separate bowl, mash the ripe avocado until smooth but still a bit chunky. This will add creaminess to your salad.

      Combine Ingredients: To the mashed avocado, add the Greek yogurt (or mayo), Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix well until combined.

        Add Vegetables: Fold in the diced red onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and capers. Mix well to distribute the ingredients evenly throughout the avocado mixture.
