Ingredients

2 cups cooked and shredded chicken

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1 bag (12 oz) tortilla chips

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup corn (fresh or frozen, thawed)

1 medium red onion, diced

1 jalapeño, diced (optional, for heat)

1 ripe avocado, diced

½ cup sour cream

¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Fresh lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the BBQ Chicken:

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce. Stir until the chicken is well-coated. Set aside to marinate for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.

      Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) so it's ready for baking the nachos!

          Layer the Nachos:

On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread the tortilla chips evenly across the surface.

              Add Toppings:

Spoon the BBQ chicken mixture over the chips, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the black beans, corn, diced red onion, and jalapeño over the top. Finally, generously sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over all the toppings.

                  Bake the Nachos:

Place the loaded nachos in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                      Finishing Touches:

Once the nachos are done baking, remove them from the oven. Top with diced avocado, dollops of sour cream, and fresh chopped cilantro.

                          Serve:

Serve the nachos immediately with lime wedges on the side for a zesty squeeze. Enjoy your smoky BBQ pulled chicken nachos fresh and hot!
