Ingredients

2 flatbreads (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, sliced (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.

Add Cheese and Seasoning: Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Flatbreads: Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking sheet.

Top with Sauce: Spread a generous amount of the creamy garlic Alfredo sauce over each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Add chopped spinach and sun-dried tomatoes for an extra kick (if using).

Bake: Place the flatbreads in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.
