Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Cook the Salmon: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted and bubbling, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until crispy and golden. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the Cream: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, thyme, and rosemary. Let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

Combine Salmon with Sauce: Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic butter sauce over the top. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm through.

Serve: Transfer the salmon to serving plates, drizzling extra sauce over each fillet. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
