Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb ground beef

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the beef and sauce. Toss well to ensure the pasta is fully coated. If the sauce is too thick, add the reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Season: Stir in the mozzarella cheese until melted. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to taste.

Serve: Plate the creamy beef Alfredo pasta and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy your rich, creamy delight!
