12 oz mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil spray

Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Prep the Cheese: Start by cutting the mozzarella cheese sticks in half. This creates bite-sized portions that will be easier to cook and eat.

    Set Up Breading Station: Prepare three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, whisk the two eggs. In the third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

      Bread the Cheese: Dip each cheese stick half into the flour, ensuring it is fully coated. Shake off any excess flour. Then, dip it in the egg, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it in the seasoned breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks. Repeat this process for all cheese sticks.

        Chill the Sticks: To achieve maximum crispiness, place the coated mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze them for at least 30 minutes. This helps them hold their shape while cooking.

          Preheat the Air Fryer: While the mozzarella sticks are chilling, preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
