1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Olive oil spray or cooking spray

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Green Beans: Rinse and dry the green beans thoroughly. Make sure they're completely dry to ensure they will crisp up in the oven.

      Set Up Breading Station: In three separate shallow bowls, prepare your breading station:

        - In the first bowl, place the flour mixed with a pinch of salt and pepper.

          - In the second bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.

            - In the third bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

              Bread the Green Beans:

                - Dip each green bean into the flour mixture, coating it lightly. Shake off the excess flour.

                  - Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

                    - Finally, roll the green bean in the Parmesan mixture, ensuring it's well-coated. Place the coated green bean on the baking sheet.

                      - Repeat until all green beans are coated.

                        Spray with Olive Oil: Lightly spray the breaded green beans with olive oil spray. This will help them crisp up beautifully in the oven.

                          Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the green bean chips are golden brown and crispy. Turn once halfway through baking for even crisping.
