1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Place the baby carrots into the slow cooker in an even layer.

Pour the maple-butter mixture over the carrots, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Cover the slow cooker with a lid and set it on low. Cook for 4-5 hours or until the carrots are tender. You can also cook on high for 2-3 hours.

Once cooked, stir the carrots gently to ensure they are coated in the glaze.

Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if desired.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh chopped parsley if you like.
