Ingredients

1 large jar of dill pickles (16 oz), sliced into chips

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup seasoned bread crumbs (panko for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions

Prep the Pickles: Begin by draining the pickle chips thoroughly. Pat them with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which prevents sogginess and helps achieve a better crunch.

Set Up Breading Station: In three separate shallow bowls, set up your breading station. Place flour in the first bowl. In the second bowl, whisk the eggs until fully combined. In the third bowl, mix together the seasoned bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Bread the Pickles: Take a pickle slice and coat it in flour, shaking off excess. Next, dip it into the egg mixture to ensure it’s fully covered. Finally, press the slice into the bread crumb mixture, making sure it’s evenly coated. Repeat this process for all pickle slices.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Pickles: Once preheated, arrange the breaded pickle chips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching to allow for optimal air circulation. Spray them lightly with cooking spray or olive oil spray for extra crispiness.

Cooking Time: Cook the pickle chips in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve and Enjoy: Once done, carefully remove the pickle chips from the air fryer. Serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing or spicy sriracha mayo.
