Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

½ cup honey

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

Prepare Chicken Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help them crisp up during cooking.

Coat the Wings: In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss the chicken wings in the flour mixture until evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top for better air circulation.

Arrange the Wings: Lay the coated wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Drizzle with vegetable oil to help achieve a crispy texture.

Bake the Wings: Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Make the Honey Glaze: While the wings are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Allow to cook for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

Glaze the Wings: Once the chicken wings are crispy, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the honey glaze over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.

Serve: Transfer the glazed wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet and savory combination!
