Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Chickpeas: Drain the canned chickpeas and rinse them thoroughly under cold water. Spread them out on a clean kitchen towel or paper towel to dry completely, as moisture will prevent them from getting crispy.

      Coat the Chickpeas: In a large bowl, combine the dried chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, sea salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss until the chickpeas are well-coated with all the spices.
