1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare Asparagus: Wash the asparagus and trim the woody ends. Place the asparagus on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
