Ingredients

1 package (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, or mixed)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Marinara sauce for dipping

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Pizza Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle. Cut the dough into 12 equal squares (about 3x3 inches each).

Fill the Squares: Place about 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese, 2-3 slices of pepperoni, and a pinch of Italian herbs in the center of each square.

Seal the Bombs: Gather the corners of each dough square and pinch them together tightly to form a ball. Make sure they are well-sealed to keep the filling from leaking.

Coat with Oil: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes. Brush this mixture generously over each pizza bomb.

Sprinkle the Toppings: Place the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Sprinkle the tops with grated Parmesan cheese and a bit more Italian herbs.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
