No-Bake Strawberry Lasagna

Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Layer:

2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

1/4 cup sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

For the Biscuit Layer:

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup sugar

For Garnish:

Fresh strawberries, whole or sliced

Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Strawberry Layer:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Toss well, cover, and let them macerate for about 15 minutes until juicy.

      Make the Cream Cheese Mixture:

        - In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.

          - In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined and fluffy.

            Prepare the Biscuit Layer:

              - In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until the mixture resembles wet sand.

                Assemble the Lasagna:

                  - In a 9x13 inch dish, spread half of the graham cracker mixture to create the bottom layer. Press down gently to form a crust.

                    - Layer half of the cream cheese mixture on top of the crust, smoothing it out evenly.

                      - Add half of the sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer.

                        - Repeat the layers with the remaining graham cracker mixture, cream cheese mixture, and strawberries. You should end with the strawberries on top.

                          Chill:

                            - Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the layers to firm up.

                              Serve:

                                - Before serving, garnish with additional fresh strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream if desired. Slice and enjoy your delightful no-bake lasagna!
