Ingredients

For the Dough:

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast

½ tsp salt

½ cup milk, warmed

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

For the Filling:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup brown sugar, packed

2 tbsp ground cinnamon

1 ½ cups crushed Oreo cookies

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Stir in the instant yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

Mix in Eggs and Flour: Add the eggs to the yeast mixture and whisk until smooth. Gradually add in the flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Knead the Dough: Dust a clean surface with flour and knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it's smooth and elastic. Place it in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Make the Filling: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until creamy. Stir in the crushed Oreo cookies until evenly mixed.

Roll Out the Dough: Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air, and turn it out onto a floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangle, about 12x18 inches.

Spread the Filling: Spread the Oreo filling evenly across the rolled-out dough, leaving a little border around the edges.

Roll and Cut: Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log shape. Cut the log into 12 equal slices (approximately 1 ½ inches thick) and place them in a greased baking pan, leaving some space between each roll.

Second Rise: Cover the pan with a kitchen towel and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes until they puff up.

Preheat the Oven: While the rolls are rising, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the Cinnamon Rolls: Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Glaze: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

Glaze and Serve: Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
