Ingredients

For the crust:

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the cheesecake filling:

16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened

1 cup Nutella

¾ cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ cup all-purpose flour

Pinch of salt

For the topping:

½ cup Nutella (for drizzling)

Chopped hazelnuts (optional, for garnish)

Whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch (or 8x8-inch) baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.

Make the cheesecake filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the Nutella and sugar, mixing until fully combined.

Add eggs and flour: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the vanilla extract, flour, and a pinch of salt, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Combine: Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Smooth the top to ensure even baking.

Bake: Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set but the center still has a slight jiggle.

Cool: Once baked, remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to set.

Slice and serve: After chilling, lift the cheesecake out of the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into bars. Drizzle some warm Nutella over the top and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts if desired. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream if you like.
