2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup fresh chives, finely chopped

2 large eggs

1 3/4 cups milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Sandwich Filling:

1 cup cooked ham or turkey, sliced

1/2 cup fresh spinach or arugula

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon honey mustard (or your favorite condiment)

Extra sliced cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Waffle Batter:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until well mixed.

      - Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chives until distributed evenly.

        Mix Wet Ingredients:

          - In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together until combined.

            - Pour in the melted butter and mix until well blended.

              Combine Mixtures:

                  Preheat the Waffle Iron:
