Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

1 lime, juiced

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Mango Slaw:

1 cup green cabbage, finely shredded

1 cup red cabbage, finely shredded

1 cup ripe mango, diced

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup

Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembly:

8 small corn or flour tortillas

Lime wedges

Extra cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the shrimp thoroughly. Allow marinating for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Prepare the Mango Slaw: In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage, red cabbage, diced mango, red onion, and cilantro. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss until evenly coated.

Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque, taking care not to overcrowd the pan. You may need to work in batches.

Warm the Tortillas: While the shrimp are cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave them for a few seconds until pliable.

Assemble the Tacos: Lay the warm tortillas flat on a serving plate. Evenly distribute the spicy shrimp among the tortillas. Top with a generous scoop of mango slaw.

Serve: Garnish with extra cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for added zest.
