Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1-2 fresh jalapeños, sliced (adjust based on spice preference)

2 oz fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

2 oz agave syrup (or simple syrup)

6 oz silver tequila

3 oz triple sec

Ice cubes

Lime slices and strawberry slices for garnish

Coarse sea salt (optional, for rimming glasses)

Instructions

Prepare the Glasses: If you prefer a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of your margarita glasses. Dip the rims into a plate of coarse sea salt and set aside.

Create Strawberry Jalapeño Puree: In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and jalapeños (remove seeds from jalapeños for less heat). Blend until smooth.

Strain the Puree: Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the puree into a pitcher to separate the pulp. Press down with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.

Mix the Margarita: In the pitcher with the strained puree, add the fresh lime juice, agave syrup, tequila, and triple sec. Stir well until everything is combined.

Serve: Fill your prepared glasses with ice cubes. Pour the margarita mixture over the ice.

Garnish: Add lime slices and a few strawberry slices on top for garnish. Optionally, you can also add a jalapeño slice if you desire extra heat!

Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing kick of this sweet and spicy margarita!
