Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) chili with beans

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced onions

1 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon taco seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)

1 cup shredded lettuce (for garnish)

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (for garnish)

Cooking spray or a little oil for frying

Instructions

Heat the Chili: In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the chili with beans. Add taco seasoning if desired for an extra kick. Stir periodically until heated through, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Prepare the Tortillas: While the chili is heating, warm the flour tortillas in a microwave for about 20-30 seconds or until soft and pliable. This will make them easier to roll.

Assemble the Burrito: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center, add about 1/4 cup of the heated chili, sprinkle on about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese, and add a couple of teaspoons of diced onions.

Roll the Burrito: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, ensuring all the fillings are secure inside. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.

Fry the Burritos (optional): To get that crispy exterior, heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of cooking spray or oil. Fry each burrito seam-side down for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Serve with Toppings: Remove the burritos from the skillet and place them on a plate. Top with sour cream, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes for a fresh garnishing touch. Serve immediately and enjoy!
