Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 cups ripe peaches, pureed (about 4 medium peaches)

1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh peach slices (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine the peach puree, BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.

Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F/190°C). If using charcoal, prepare your grill for direct heat.

Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken on the hot grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and has nice grill marks.

Baste with Marinade: During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the chicken with additional marinade (remember, never baste with the raw marinade). Close the grill lid to let the flavors meld.

Rest the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. This helps keep the juices inside, ensuring every bite is tender and juicy.

Serve & Garnish: Slice the chicken and serve it on a platter. Garnish with fresh peach slices and sprinkle chopped cilantro or parsley on top for a burst of color and flavor.
