Ingredients

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 2 lemons

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, oregano, dill, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a large baking dish. Pour the marinade evenly over the fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature for maximum flavor.

Bake the Salmon: Once marinated, place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. If you prefer a crispier top, you can broil the salmon for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end (keep an eye on it to avoid burning).

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately with your choice of sides, such as steamed vegetables or quinoa.
