Ingredients

2 ripe mangos, diced

2 ripe avocados, diced

1 medium red onion, finely chopped

1 small red bell pepper, diced

1 jalapeño, seeds removed and minced (adjust for spice preference)

Juice of 2 limes

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (if you like it sweeter)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mango and avocado, being gentle to avoid mashing the avocado.

Add the finely chopped red onion, diced red bell pepper, and minced jalapeño to the bowl.

Pour in the freshly squeezed lime juice, and gently fold the ingredients together to ensure that everything is evenly coated.

Sprinkle in the chopped cilantro, and add salt and pepper to taste. If you’d like a hint of sweetness, mix in the optional honey or agave syrup.

Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. If you want it tangier, you can add more lime juice.

Let the salsa sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
